Holidays In Cross Stitch 1989

The Vanessa-Ann Collection

Wonderful cross-stitch projects for a variety of holidays throughout the year! From the book's Introduction:

At The Vanessa-Ann Collection, our individualities seem to surface as we plan each new Holidays In Cross-Stitch book. This year we celebrate holidays that are sacred and secular, familiar and unique. You'll find novel interpretations of favorite holidays and traditional designs for little-known occasions. In 1989 we're also remembering the bicentennial of Washington's inauguration, the centennial of the Tournament of Roses Parade, and with our French friends, the centennial of the Eiffel Tower's construction. So choose from the variety of designs and express your talent and individuality through cross-stitch.

Occasions represented in this book:

* The Tournament of Roses
* Carrot Festival
* Valentine's Day
* Doll Day
* National Wildlife Week
* First Day of Spring
* Easter
* Earth Day
* Washington's Inauguration
* Festival of the Hare

Binding: Hardcover book
Copyright: 1988 (for Year 1989)
Publisher: Oxmoor House
Numbered pages: 144
Dimensions in inches: Approx. 8 3/4 x 11 1/4

Covers show light overall surface rubbing. The plastic coating on the book's covers has wrinkled, giving the surface of the covers a rough texture. Top left corner of the covers is bumped/dented. The front cover has a long cut (approx 5") to the left edge in the spine area. It looks like whoever was unpacking the books at the store may have cut into it with a box cutter. About 2 1/4" of the cut went completely through to the inside front cover as well. However, the binding is completely tight and no pages are affected or loose. Text is clean with no notes, underlining, or highlighting.
