Do you offer discounted shipping if I purchase more than one book?
I love to combine multiple books into one shipment whenever possible to save you money. The discounted shipping rate is usually the shipping/handling charges for the heaviest book plus $.50 for each additional book purchased. If you would like a shipping quote before you make a purchase, just email me with the titles of the books you are interested in purchasing and I will be happy to let you know the total cost with shipping.
To receive discounted shipping, all books must be purchased within a 24-hour period and be paid for in one combined payment. Please be aware that the eCrater shopping cart will not reflect your shipping discount when you make your purchases. I will, however, be happy to issue you an invoice that reflects the combined shipping discount once you have finalized your order. Please wait for this invoice before making payment.
Which shipping service do you use?
I ship via the United States Postal Service using Media Mail (Book Rate) service with Delivery Confirmation. Please be aware that while it is more cost-effective, USPS Media Mail (book rate) shipping can be slow, particularly around the holidays. If you require faster delivery please e-mail me prior to making a purchase and I will be happy to provide you with a quote for Priority shipping. Priority shipping is also required for shipments to Alaska or Hawaii as Media Mail shipments can sometimes take several weeks to reach these destinations. Insurance is available at standard USPS rates (starts at $1.75 for values up to $50.)
When will you ship my order?
Orders will ship within 3 business days (M-F) after I receive payment by Paypal or money order. I do my best to ship all orders as quickly as possible, usually the next business day after payment is received and many times the same day if at all possible. I will send you an email when your book ships so that you will know that it is on its way.
When is my payment due?
Payment is greatly appreciated when you place your order. If payment is not received within 10 business days after the listing ends, your order may be cancelled and your item(s) will be returned to the store. If you do not make immediate payment when you finish shopping, please email me within 24 hours and let me know which payment method you plan to use.
